Lake Elementaita Serena Camp

Superbly situated on the banks of Lake Elmenteita where a plethora of birds congregate, the small and exclusive Lake Elmenteita Serena Camp in Kenya invites guests to experience an intimate 5 star safari experience.

The area is not only breathtakingly beautiful, it is also home to many rare species of animals, is less than two hours’ drive from Nairobi and just a short distance to Lake Nakuru. The camp blends upper class elegance with modern luxury and offers cuisine and service of appropriately high standards.

Night game drives offer a unique opportunity to spot nocturnal creatures including the curious looking aardvark and elusive leopard. Walking is also allowed, with chances to experience the bush close-up. Atmospheric bush dinners beneath the stars and spectacular sundowners over this geologically fascinating part of the Great Rift Valley are a few more of the camp’s exciting activities. Lake Nakuru National Park and Kariandusi prehistoric site are also nearby.

On the shores of the beautiful Lake Elmenteita.

There is a central restaurant, bar and lounge. A swimming pool is the perfect place to cool down in the African sun. You can relax with a massage, indulge in some pampering in the beauty parlour and buy those last minute gifts in the gift shop. There are plenty of activities available to keep you occupied between game drives – archery, water aerobics, jogging/walking, Swahili lessons, water colour painting, cooking lessons, badminton, swimming lessons, yoga and cooking lessons.

Children under six years of age are not permitted at the camp.
