Samatian Island Lodge is a small exclusive lodge set on a small private island on one of Rift Valley’s fresh water lake, Lake Baringo. The lodge offers breath-taking views of the lake and lies on the backdrop of the Laikipia Escarpment.
The lodge is only 4-hours drive away from Nairobi city. A charter plane can be arranged depending on the requirements of the traveler.

Samatian Island Lodge offers accommodation in 5 open-plan thatched cottages that can contain up to 12 guests. Each room offers panoramic views of the lake with en suite bathroom usually with its own unique style. The family chalet has a double and twin bedroom with an open air deck upstairs for star-gazing. Each room has a unique personality of its own and provides privacy to the occupants.
