Kizingo Eco-lodge Lamu

Positioned on a remote tip of Lamu, the eight bandas are set well apart from each other, offering unrivalled sea views.
In the early morning you can enjoy tea in bed and watch fishing dhows tack south to Malindi.

Situated at one end of a spectacular 12 kilometre beach stretching from Kizingo to the fashionable village of Shela, Lamu.
Facilities at Kizingo
Delicious lunches and dinners, using only the freshest local produce, are served in the restaurant overlooking the Indian Ocean. A bar with magnificent views across the bay to mainland Kenya where giant baobab trees spread into the brilliant blue sky, is also available. Leisure facilities include snorkelling*, swimming with dolphins*, turtle watch, fishing*, guided cycle ride*, visits to historic Lamu town or Kipungani village*, bush walks* and sunset dhow trips.

Accommodation at Kizingo
8 very spacious bandas with an en suite shower and dressing area. The bandas feature high-pitched thatched roofs and shaded balconies with fantastic ocean views. Each has a large double bed romantically draped with mosquito netting, plus comfortable chairs for lounging. Bamboo screens unfurl to give complete privacy (2 adults and 1 child).

Transfer Time to Kizingo
Approximately 30 minutes by boat from Manda.
The lodge is closed from May to the end of June.
