Loldia House Naivasha
Nestling under the acacia and wild fig trees on the green western shores of Lake Naivasha, the present Loldia House was constructed by Italian prisoners of war from stone quarried on the farm.
Built around a courtyard, its main archway frames a stunning view of the dormant volcano Mount Longonot.
An old farmhouse on a ranch in the northwestern part of Lake Naivasha.
Offers a dining room in old colonial style and a lounge. There is an infinity pool with stunning views across the Lake. Leisure facilities include golf, tennis, day and night game drives, horse riding, boat rides on Lake Naivasha, boat rides to Crescent Island, fishing, walking safaris, bird watching, cultural visits and a day trip to Lake Nakuru National Park.
Rooms
Loldia House offers a choice of accommodation either in the old family house or in cottages in the grounds. In the main house there is one en suite double room, furnished in the original settler style. Close by is an original guest cottage surrounded by lush flowers, with a further two en suite rooms. Then there are a further two separate cottages each with two en suite rooms – both have wonderful views of the gardens and the Lake. Up on the hill is the ‘Top Cottage’, which has a sitting room with open log fire and panoramic views across the Lake and two double en suite rooms. It also has a loft room with a separate bathroom. The Top Cottage is only suitable for close friends or family groups.
