Mara Simba Lodge

Mara Simba Lodge

Safari to Mara Simba Lodge with Africa Travel Resource

Mara Simba Lodge stretches almost a kilometer at a dramatic bend on the banks of Talek River which is a tributary of Mara River. It blends into the surrounding wilderness with its landscaped gardens filled with indigenous trees which attract a large number of birds and butterflies. The lodge compliments its surroundings by being decorated in Maasai traditional style. The pathways are well lit and the entire lodge offers all the calm and comfort a traveler would wish for after a long safari.

Mara Simba is an environment friendly lodge as it has a sewage treatment plant that provides crystal clear water used for irrigation.

While at the lodge, a visitor is most likely to see the “Big Five” in Maasai Mara National Reserve and between the months of July-October, the spectacular wildebeest migration which has been termed as the new 7th wonder of the world.
