The Solio Reserve is internationally recognised as the most successful private rhino breeding reserve in Kenya, and it is not unusual to see large numbers of these endangered animals on game drives.

Delicious dinners are often served outside under the stars within sight of grazing waterbuck, impalas and zebras. There are plenty of activities to keep you busy, including: day and night game drives, walking safaris, cycling, horseback riding and trout fishing on the nearby slopes of Mount Kenya and the Aberdares. After all the excitement, you can relax with an in-room massage. Free wi-fi is also available in the mess area.
Accommodation at Solio Lodge
There are just five luxury cottages, each with a large en suite bathroom with bath and shower, lounge area and open fire for the cooler evenings, and a private deck affording panoramic views of the nearby hills and Mount Kenya in the distance. Rooms are equipped with a fridge, safe, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.
