8 Days Uganda Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Package
This action-packed 8-day Uganda safari combines the special experience of meeting the highly-endangered mountain gorillas in both Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park, with Savannah and boat safaris to see animals in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Seeing the gorillas in their natural habitat of dense undergrowth and enormous trees is rightly rated as one of Africa’s top wildlife encounters. Queen Elizabeth National Park is Uganda’s premier Savannah park covered in acacia woodland, while narrow bands of lush riparian woodland line the park’s numerous lakes. It is home to abundant populations of plains game including big mammals like elephant, lion and buffalo, while the waterways are full of hippos and crocodiles. Finally, our last stop is at pretty Lake Bunyonyi that has exceptionally rich birdlife and peaceful camps/lodges. All the national parks visited on this tour are very scenic, and the drives between Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi, Rwanda and Lake Bunyonyi are truly spectacular—you will see rolling hills of pretty terraced farms and ever-present views of the misty towering volcanoes and mountains along the Uganda-Rwanda border.
