Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve (265 km, 5 to 6 hours)
An early morning start in Nairobi includes a briefing from your guide/driver as you make your way to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. During the drive, you will have opportunity to stop for photographs across vista of the valley, the Suswa Ranges, and Mount Longonot. A traditional Kenyan lunch is served in Narok town during the journey to the Masai Mara.
Arriving at your accommodation within the game reserve, you will go on your first game drive after a short time to rest. This is your first chance to spot the animals you’ve come to marvel at, and your personal safari guide will help you find the greats of the Savannah.
We suggest you take the chance to buy souvenirs at the park entrance from the local Masai people. These make great value gifts and allows you to directly contribute to the livelihood of the local community.

Day 2: Full Day in Masai Mara National Reserve
The Masai Mara is home to more than 3 million large mammals, ready for you to view during your full day game drive through the game reserve. Spotting the splendid wildlife will be assisted by your expert Kenyan safari guide, able to show you some of the most loved animals on the planet, from lions to elephants, hippos to wildebeest.
Lunch is served picnic style whilst you’re ranging through the reserve. With luck you may witness the iconic migration over the plains of the Great African Rift Valley, or herds of animals grazing on the grasslands.
The afternoon gives you the option to visit a Masai village. Their culture is revered the world over for their battles with animals of the wild and mastery of a nomadic lifestyle in this valley that is the home of humanity. The village will greet you with traditional song and dance performances, allow you to visit a traditional home, and understand the culture of this unique tribe. There is an extra charge of US$20 per person for this activity.

Day 3: Masai Mara National Reserve – Nairobi (265 km, 5 to 6 hours)
Starting the day early allows for a morning game drive as the Masai Mara transitions from night to dawn. The dawn chorus over the savanna is an African safari experience not to be missed.
Breakfast is served after the game drive, followed by embarking on the journey back to Nairobi. During your return journey lunch will be served at the famous carnivore restaurant, Once back in Nairobi, you can choose to return to your hotel, residence, or directly to the airport depending on your plans. If you wish to take the train from Nairobi, it’s possible to organize a 5am start on this day to accommodate your needs.
